For sale is a sterling silver ring with a natural blue star sapphire.  This unusual ring features an opaque, oval star sapphire in a wonderful shade of blue between midnight and royal blue.  The sapphire displays a full six-rayed star in bright light.  The star appears chalky white against the Egyptian blue of the sapphire.  You can see the crystalline structure of the sapphire, which tells you the sapphire is a natural, earth-mined gemstone.  The sapphire is secure in a prong setting.  The shoulders of the silver ring have a cut-out triangular Celtic knot design.  This is a well-crafted, elegant ring with a lovely blue sapphire.  It is rare to find natural blue star sapphires in silver, which makes this an unusually affordable purchase!
