For sale is a Mexican fire boulder opal heart pendant. The opal embedded in matrix (or boulder) that is a rich shade of terracotta red. The heart appears opaque in dim light, but in bright indoor light or in sunlight the opal displays a fine spray of lime green fire. It also displays cherry red translucent fire. The back side of the opal is more subtle, but also displays red and green fire. This is a fairly subtle opal, not flashy like some. The unusual feature of this opal is the lovely heart shape of the pendant. The pendant comes with a gold-colored metal chain.
