Mexican Boulder Fire Opal Ring. 925 Old Pawn. **VIDEO**

For sale is a Mexican Boulder Fire Opal Ring in sterling silver.  This is an old pawn style opal ring.  The opal is stunning.  It features terracotta red boulder (matrix) that flashes with cherry red, tangerine, yellow, lime green, and even fuchsia and purple fire.  The opal forms a full rainbow as you move it in the light.  The opal is a large domed opal, and is secure in a hand-crafted bezel setting.  The bezel is edged in pyrope and Bali beads.  The ring has a split shaft that joins into a single polished band.  This ring would be equally attractive worn by a woman or a man.  Old pawn style Mexican opal rings like this one were easy to find at one time, but have become increasingly rare and valuable.  This one is particularly vivid and well-crafted.
