For sale is a Mexican boulder fire opal ring in sterling silver. This is an old pawn ring with a squash-blossom design. The ring features a large round Mexican opal. The matrix (boulder) is deep terracotta red. The opal has one pool of opalescence that flashes with peacock blue and fuchsia fire. The other pool of opalescence flashes with glowing tangerine and pumpkin lava-like fire. This opal is like a little drop of pure sunlight, magical and glowing. The opal is secure in a bezel setting, and is framed with delicate and intricate scalloped filigree edging. This ring is truly magical!
