Ethiopian Welo Opal Peace Dove Ring in 925. **VIDEO**

For sale is an Ethiopian Welo opal ring with a silver dove of peace. This ring is very unusual.  It features a beautifully rendered dove in mid-flight, grasping its opal egg in its talons.  The dove has beautifully carved feathers and features.  The opal is translucent with a yolk yellow color.  It flashes with cherry red, tangerine, lime, and occasional fuchsia and purple fire.  The opal is a small domed circle, and is secure in a hand-crafted silver bezel setting.  The ring has a simple polished square band.  This is a sweet ring, a memento of the peace movement of the 1960s.  The ring can be worn by a man or a woman.  It can be worn alone or stacked with other rings.
