For sale is an Ethiopian Welo opal and chrysoprase necklace in 14k gold fill. The necklace features light honey yellow Ethiopian opal beads. The chain is set with small opals that have very subtle or no fire. The six larger opal beads are very colorful, flashing with cherry red, lime, tangerine, and yellow fire in sunlight or bright light. The necklace features a drop pendant at its center. The pendant is a round cabochon of apple green chrysoprase. The chrysoprase is secure in a multi-prong crown setting. The necklace is adjustable from 18 to 20 inches, and fastens with a large lobster clasp. This is an unusual, vibrant necklace that dazzles in the sunlight.
