For sale is an Ethiopian Welo opal pendant in sterling silver. This opal was mined in the opal fields near the Wolo province in northern Ethiopia. This is a particularly colorful, fire-y opal. The opal is large and oval. The base color is light honey yellow, and the opal flashes with purple, cherry red, fuchsia, tangerine, lime and peacock blue in sunlight or bright light. The opal is backed in silver, which adds fire and depth to the opal. The opal is bezel set, and the pendant has a large bail to accommodate your chain.
