Australian Boulder Opal FOX Ring. Big 1" & 19g. 925 **VIDEO**

For sale is an Australian boulder opal "fox" ring in sterling silver and gold wash.  This ring is hand-crafted and one-of-a-kind.  The ring features a large oval boulder opal with chocolate brown and black matrix.  The opal is veined with wide rivers of opalescence in peacock blue, turquoise and purple.  The boulder is visible on the back of the opal.  The opal is embraced by a beautifully carved fox, whose intelligent face and feather-like curving tail hold the opal securely in place.  The band of the ring is wide and flat, with a grid-like watch-band pattern.  The ring has a deliberate darkened patina which can be polished away if preferred.  The ring is accented with gold wash on the fox' tail, and on the silver bands holding the opal.  This is a bold, colorful opal ring with a larger than usual dose of artistic whimsy.  It would be wonderful worn by either a man or a woman.
