For sale is an Australian black opal doublet ring in silver.  This opal is a doublet, a natural Australian opal that has been backed in onyx to deepen and darken its color.  The opal is deep midnight blue with flashes of cherry red, royal blue, tangerine and lime green.  It also occasionally flashes fuchsia and purple.  The opal is subtle in dim light but vibrant in sunlight or bright indoor light.  The opal is secure in a hand-crafted multi-prong crown setting.  The mounting is similar to a squash-blossom design.  This is a colorful, magical opal ring that will be a joy to add to your jewelry wardrobe.  It can be worn by either a man or a woman.
