For sale is a 14k yellow gold "snowflake" or star design pendant in onyx. Victorian women frequently wore this type of pendant to signify a period of mourning for a loved one. This pendant features diamond, square-cut and round jet pieces beautifully arranged in a snowflake pattern. Each small piece of jet is securely set in its own bezel that is edged in tiny milgrain. The pendant is accented with small gold Bali beads. The pendant has a wonderful geometric symmetry to its design, reminiscent of a patterns of a kaleidoscope. The pendant is backed in gold, with visible solder marks. I had this pendant converted from a stick-pin. Wear this pendant in honor of a loved one, or just enjoy its simple elegance.
The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
