14k Yellow Gold Gypsy Set *tiny* Rainbow MOONSTONE Band Ring

For sale is a 14k yellow gold band-style ring with a tiny gypsy-set rainbow moonstone.  This is a very unusual antique ring from the Victorian era.  The ring is a wide and thick band.  The band is elevated around the moonstone.  The moonstone is cabochon-cut and round with a vibrant blue glow.  The moonstone is gypsy-set, which means it is set inside a sunburst carved in the gold.  This type of setting was popular during the Victorian era.  The gypsy setting is very flattering to the glowing moonstone.  This ring would make a lovely wedding band or alternative engagement ring.  It could also be worn as a right hand ring.  It is beautiful stacked with another moonstone or diamond band.  You will not see another gypsy-set ring like this in a month of Sundays! 

The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
