14k Yellow Gold Australian Crystal Opal Bead Necklace **VIDEO**

For sale is an Australian crystal opal bead necklace with a 14k yellow gold clasp.  These opals were mined in the Lightning Ridge opal fields in New South Wales, Australia.  They are sometimes called jelly opals or crystal opals because they are translucent with flashes of colorful fire.  Each opal is semi-transparent and sparkles with neon green and tangerine fire. 

The opals have an ethereal lavender purple glow which gives them a ghostly, otherworldly feel.  The necklace fastens with a 14k filigree clasp.  Most beaded opal necklaces are made of old-fashioned white Australian opals.  It is unusual to find a beaded necklace made of crystal opals.  This one is truly magical and delightful. 

***The necklace is NOT knotted.  There is 1-2 beads worth of empty space along the necklace's silk cord. The necklace can be safely worn as it is, or you can have it restrung or knotted, as you prefer.
