SG MERMAID 14k Yellow Gold Art Nouveau Carved Pendant w GYPSY-Set Diamond--K7L4J

For sale is a 14k yellow gold pendant with a small diamond.  This is an antique pendant from the Art Nouveau era.  This pendant began life as a cufflink, and I had my jeweler convert it to a pendant.  The pendant is a large oval that has been reverse carved (reppouse) in an elaborate, swirling pattern.  The intricate design resembles undulating ocean waves, or the muscled and grasping legs of a mythical deep-sea creature.   The pendant is accented by a tiny, sparkly diamond that is gypsy set near the bottom.  The pendant has an articulated bail to accommodate your chain.  This is a one-of-a-kind, beautifully crafted antique pendant. It would be appropriate for a man or a woman.  This pendant would look lovely on its own, or layered with other pendants.  

The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
