SG MERMAID 10k Yellow Gold Double Cabochon Garnet "Moi et Toi" Ring --K8L8J

For sale is a 10k yellow gold garnet ring.  The ring is a tall navette style antique ring from the Art Deco era.  This type of ring, with two gems, is often called a "moi et toi" ring.  This ring features juicy cabochon garnets in a vibrant shade of pomegranate red.  The garnets have lovely glowing translucence and natural inclusions.  Each garnet is securely held by six prongs.  The garnets are set in a rectangular frame with a notched-edge design.  The ring is a good example of the Egyptian revival style that was popular during the Deco era.  This is a vibrant, elegant, well-crafted ring.  

The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
