For sale is a platinum antique ring with a cabochon natural gray-lavender star sapphire and diamond accents. This exquisite antique ring was made with the very finest quality materials and craftsmanship.  The star sapphire has the most subtle, beautiful pale lavender color along with other-worldly translucence.

Lavender star sapphires are technically blue sapphires, and this one displays a full six rayed star in very bright light, and a glowing asterism in normal light. The sapphire is translucent, and you can see internal inclusions, including some interior feather lines, on one edge of the stone. The exterior of the stone has no scratches, chips or damage. Please see video and magnified photos for the most accurate view of the condition of the stone.

The sapphire is secure in a hand-crafted bezel setting with delicate milgrain edging. The sapphire is framed by small round rose-cut diamonds, each of which is sparkly and eye-clear. The shoulders of the ring are engraved with a delicate floral pattern. The ring tapers to a thin band in back.
