For sale is a Mexican fire opal pendant in 925 sterling silver.  The pendant has a 14k yellow gold bail. This opal is unusually bright, with flashing orange, cherry red fire and neon lime green even in dim light.  In bright sunlight or indoor light "forget about it" - this opal is ON FIRE.  Cantera opals are transparent, and this one has a primary pumpkin orange color.  The opal is a domed oval.  It has some light tan natural inclusions on one side (see magnified photo.)  The opal is surrounded by a halo of sparkly clear quartz gemstones.  All the gemstones are secure in prong settings.  The pendant has an articulated 14k bail to accommodate your chain.  If you have only owned old-fashioned white opals in the past, you will be truly delighted by this fire-y Mexican opal.
