For sale is a Mexican cantera boulder fire opal ring in sterling silver. This old pawn ring is stunning.  The opal sits in boulder that is rich pumpkin orange.  Firey opalescent colors swirl around the orange boulder, which forms an island at the center of the opal.  The opal is a domed oval shape. The opal is vibrant orange at the center, with exceptional range of colors around the edges.  You will see fuchsia, cherry red, as well as tangerine and lime green.  The opal is securely set in a crown bezel setting with zig-zag cut edges.  The opal is framed in silver with a crimped edge design.  The ring has a split band which joins at the shoulders.  This ring is simply magnificent in the sunlight!
