For sale is a very unusual Mexican black opal opal signet ring in sterling silver. This opal is a dark, very large, slightly domed oval. In dim light, the opal appears deep brown with vivid red opalescence that swirls beneath the surface.
In bright light the opal appears tan, with cherry red, lime green, and vibrant orange fire that shifts in the sunlight. The opal is cloudy, and this effects the appearance, muting the fire and color somewhat on the top of the stone. The opal is set in a beautifully crafted signet style ring with an engraved chevron design and cutout symbols on each shoulder.
This is a one-of-a-kind, hand-crafted ring that is both beautiful and unusual. This magical ring can be worn by either a man or a woman.
