For sale is an oval cabochon Ethiopian Welo jelly opal ring in sterling silver. This is a large Ethiopian opal, full of fire and flash. The opal was mined in the opal fields of the Wollo province of Ethiopia. The opal is semi-translucent with lots of brilliant sky blue! You will also see cherry red, tangerine, lime, and yellow fire. The opal is secure in a bezel-setting edged in a braided rope design. The bezel is surrounded by scalloped edges like the petals of a flower. This is a dazzling opal. It will amaze you in the sunlight.
