Ethiopian Welo Opal in Silver Bali Bead Ring. Wide Cigar Band

For sale is a cabochon Ethiopian Welo opal in a wide sterling silver cigar band ring.  This large oval Ethiopian opal dazzles of cherry red, tangerine, yellow and green fire and flash.  You will occasionally see shades of blue and purple as you move the stone in the light.  The opal was mined in the opal fields of the Wollo province of Ethiopia. 

The opal is translucent with brilliant swaths of fire in bright light. The opal is secure in a bezel-setting and framed in silver with a twisted rope design. The shoulders of the ring are decorated with a raised design created from bali beads. This is a dazzling opal in a lovely frame.  It will amaze you in the sunlight. 

The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
