The star of the show is the extraordinary large Australian Andamooka opal crystal. The stone is a deep, glossy black, creating a dramatic background for its flashes of color. At the pointed tip, tiny threads and flecks of fiery orange, red, pink and yellow burst from the darkness, while brilliant seams and pinpoints of neon green fire appear throughout the stone as it moves in the light. The Andamooka opal is topped with a substantial hand-crafted sterling silver cap, which holds a second gorgeous opal: a large round Ethiopian Welo opal.
