For sale is a truly magnificent Ethiopian Welo jelly opal ring in sterling silver. This extraordinarily large Ethiopian opal is mystical and magical, semi-translucent milky white with eerie wisps of purple and lavender fire in the sunlight. The opal was mined in the opal fields of the Wollo province of Ethiopia and has a roughly oval shape, with angled facets that are polished smooth. 

The opal is secure in a hand-crafted setting and framed with long silver leaves and Bali beads. The opal has a slight amount of movement in its frame. You can see the back of the opal from inside the ring. The ring's split shanks join into a half-round band at the back. 

This is a dazzling opal. It will amaze you in the sunlight.
