Ethiopian Welo Jelly Opal Graduated Oval Hoop Earrings. 1.4" *Video*

For sale is a pair of Ethiopian Welo jelly opal hoop earrings in sterling silver. These large hoops are graduated ovals that widen towards the bottom.  The front of each earring is set with three oval cabochon Welo opals. Each opal is translucent with a golden honey color, and flashes with tangerine, lime, yellow, red, blue and occasional purple fire. 

These opals are ephemeral, and their color changes depending on the light.  As you move the opals they constantly catch the light and flash with vibrant fire and opalescence.  Each opal is secure in a gold tone bezel setting. Each earring is made of two silver hoops, and the opals connect the two oval hoops. 

The opals get larger towards the bottom of the hoop.  The earrings fasten securely.  These large, sturdy opal earring are truly dazzling.  They make a big statement, and would be perfect for summer parties and picnics!
