Ethiopian Welo Jelly Opal Bracelet in Silver. Large 1/2" Opals. Bali Bead--K9L9J

For sale is an Ethiopian Welo opal bracelet in silver.  The bracelet features six oval opals that are unusually large and full of colorful fire.  These opals were mined in the opal fields in the Wollo province in Ethiopia.  The opals are translucent with a light honey color base color.  Each opal flashes with red, purple, green, blue and orange fire. The bracelet is dazzling in bright light, but displays lovely fire even in dim light.  One of the opals has a small chip (see photo with ruler.)  Each opal is bezel-set, completely framed in silver with a pyrope/ twisted rope design.   The opals are mounted in silver oval panels with scalloped edges and Bali beads.  The opals are visible from the back of the bracelet. The panels are connected with small silver links.  The bracelet fastens securely with a large lobster clasp.  This is a stunning bracelet that will delight the opal lover.

The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
