For sale is an extremely unusual Ethiopian opal sunburst pendant! The sterling silver pendant features carved "man in the moon face" Ethiopian opal surrounded by a halo of smaller teardrop cut opals. The central opal has been hand-carved with a serene, restful face with just a hint of a Mona Lisa smile.

Each opal has a golden yellow base color, with wonderfully vivid fire. In sunlight you will see flashes of cherry red, purple, lime green, and orange fire. Each opal is secure in a four prong setting. The smaller opals are edged in delicate milgrain. The back side of the pendant has an intricate mandala-like filigree design.

The pendant has an articulated filigree bail edged in milgrain to accommodate your chain. This is a one-of-a-kind pendant that will provide you with entertainment and sunny good cheer for a lifetime.
