Ethiopian Black Welo Opal & Natural Blue Star Sapphire Ring**VIDEO**

For sale is an Ethiopian Welo opal ring with a natural blue star sapphire and green tsavorite and pink tourmaline accents.  This large, unusual ring features such a rare collaboration of gemstones!  The central gemstone is a natural round blue star sapphire.  This midnight blue sapphire displays a beautiful six-rayed star in sunlight or bright indoor light.  The sapphire is surrounded by a halo of black Welo opals.  Each oval opal is translucent with a base color that is coffee brown.  Each opal flashes a unique play of colorful opal fire.  You will see cherry red, lime green, tangerine, bright blue and even flashes of purple and fuchsia as you move the ring in the light.  The opals appear darker in dimmer light, and more translucent in bright light.  A row of tiny bezel-set pink tourmaline gemstones separates the sapphire and the opals, and tiny vivid tsavorite garnets are pave set in a grass green lawn surrounding the opals.  The ring is well crafted with a raised gallery to allow light to accentuate the gemstones.  What an astonishing bouquet of gemmy beauties!
