For sale is an Ethiopian Welo opal ring with five stones set in sterling silver. This gorgeous ring features a row of natural cabochon black Welo opals. Each oval opal is translucent with a base color that is black to brown and flashes with a unique play of colorful opal fire.

Each opal has a different play of colors, and you will see cherry red, lime green, tangerine, and bright blue fire as you move the ring in the light. The opals appear darker in dimmer light, and more translucent in bright light. The ring is well crafted with a raised gallery to allow light to accentuate the gemstones.
