For sale is a bumble-bee ring with an Ethiopian black opal and blue sapphire eyes.  The ring is made from sterling silver.  This type of opal is sometimes called "honeycomb" opal because it appears to have myriad cell-like compartments under the surface.  The opal is translucent with a rich shade of chocolate brown.  The opal flashes with lime green, tangerine, yellow and cherry red fire.  The wee bumble-bee has ceylon blue sapphire eyes that are bezel set in silver with a gold tone.  The bee's textured wings and tiny antennae are also gold-tone silver.  The band of the ring is textured like a tree branch, and the silver band has been carbonized to give it a blackened appearance.  This ring is a pleasure to wear, and has wonderful fire and color.

The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
