Ethiopian & Australian Opal Pendant. Hand-crafted and Large 1.5"

For sale is a sterling silver slide pendant with an Ethiopian opal and an Australian opal.  The Ethiopian opal has a golden yellow base color, with exceptionally vivid fire.  The opal flashes cherry red, orange, yellow and neon green.  The Australian opal is smaller with more subtle fire, and has some nice pin-fire visible in bright light.  Each opal is securely bezel-set, completely framed in sterling silver.  The pendant itself is hand-crafted with a swirl of coiled sterling between the two opals.  The opals are both backed in sterling silver (the backs of the opals are not visible).  The Ethiopian opal has a fissure that runs over the stone (see magnified photos.)  This is a naturally occurring imperfection in the stone.  The opal is secure in its setting and in no danger of breaking.  The pendant has a large built-in bail (behind the Australian opal) to accommodate your chain.
