14k Gold Australian Purple Black Boulder Opal Earrings. 1" *Video*

For sale is a pair of 14k yellow gold earrings with Australian black opals. These are some of the nicest black opals I have ever seen.  Each opal is deep black, with clouds the color of dark smoke covering part of the stone like islands.  The opalescence flashes like lakes or rivers of midnight blue, peacock blue, lime green and purple fire.  In dim light the opalescence appears primarily purple and blue, but in sunlight you see more peacock blue and neon green fire.  Each opal is secure in a hand-crafted bezel setting.  The earrings are thick at about 5mm.  You can see the boulder/matrix from the back of the earrings.  The colors flashing in these opals are so unusual. The large size and beautiful craftsmanship also make these earrings a wonderful find.

The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
