For sale is a pair of 14k yellow gold earrings with spherical "man in the moon" faces. These unusual earrings are large and wonderful! The earrings were crafted by the respected US jewelry designer Peter Brams Designs. Each earring features a large, hollow, sturdy 14k gold moon-like sphere with a gently smiling, serene face on one side. Each feature is beautifully rendered, including curving mouth, brow and slightly pointed nose. The back of each sphere is smooth. The moons dangle from large kidney wire hooks. Although they are not antiques, these earrings have lovely old-world charm.
The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
