For sale is an Ethiopian Welo jelly opal ring in sterling silver with copper accents.  This exceptional ring is hand-crafted and one of a kind.  The ring features two oval cabochon Ethiopian jelly opals. Each honey-colored opal is semi-translucent with vibrant flashes of sky blue, lime green, tangerine and cherry red fire.  The opals are not subtle, and each displays lots of colorful fire even in normal light.  The opals are both secure in hand-crafted silver bezel-settings.  The ring is a wide cigar band made of sterling silver.  The band narrows towards the back.  The opals are set at the top and bottom of the band, and each opal protrudes past the edge of the band slightly.  The bottom edge of the band has a semi-circle cut-out, and the opal is set in this space.  The opal is framed above by an arc of silver and a second curving band of copper.  These bands look like a rainbow to my eye.  The band of the ring has a honey-comb texture.  The band is decorated with golden dots of copper that go all the way around the band.  The square band tapers towards the back. This beautifully designed ring is colorful, sculptural, and truly one of a kind.  This ring could be worn beautifully by a man or a woman.
