For sale is an Ethiopian Welo black opal pendant with a tanzanite halo. This large, unusual pendant features such a rare collaboration of gemstones! The central gemstone is a black opal with ghostly cherry red, lime green, tangerine and yellow fire. The oval opal is framed by a halo of oval tanzanite gemstones in a sublime shade of periwinkle. The oval opal is semi-translucent with a base color that is dark coffee brown. The pendant is well crafted with a raised gallery to allow light to accentuate the gemstones. The back of the pendant has an intricate floral filigree design that is quite beautiful. What an astonishing bouquet of gemmy beauties!
