Mexican Fire Boulder Opal Honeycomb Ring in Silver **VIDEO**

For sale is a Mexican fire boulder opal ring in sterling silver.  This opal has pale tan colored matrix (boulder) around the edges, and a large pool of colorful opalescence in the center.  This type of opal is called "honeycomb" because the opal seems to be divided in myriad sections.  The opal is semi-transparent with a pale pinkish orange color.  The opal flashes cherry red and lime green, as well as tangerine and yellow.  You will occasionally see wonderful splashes of violet purple, visible in some photos. The opal is secure in a hand-crafted bezel-setting.  The silver has a dark patina which can be removed by the buyer if preferred.

The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
