For sale is a 14k yellow gold lavender Australian crystal opal pendant. This large, teardrop-shaped opal was mined in the Lightning Ridge opal fields in New South Wales, Australia. This type of opal is translucent, and is sometimes called a crystal opal or a jelly opal. This opal is semi-translucent with ethereal wisps of lavender, purple, peacock blue, teal and lime green fire. In dim light the opal is subtle, and in bright sunlight this opal has enchanting, ethereal beauty. The opal is secure in a hand-crafted bezel setting. It has a large bail to accommodate your chain. This large, unusual opal is ideal for those who love the subtle, ethereal magic of the elusive jelly opal.
