For sale is a pendant with Australian jelly opals suspended in resin with a sterling silver bail. This unusual pendant was crafted in the 1950s. The Australian jelly opals are suspended in a domed, oval bubble of clear resin and backed in dark black resin. The black resin creates a striking backdrop to display these iridescent gemstones. The opals flash with eerie, iridescent fire in a kaleidoscope of color. In particular, you will see lots of cherry red, tangerine, fuchsia and lime green fire. The pendant has a large articulated bail to accommodate your chain. This magical opal necklace is truly one-of-a-kind.
