Australian Jelly Opal Signet Ring in Gold-Tone Sterling Silver. **Video**



For sale is an Australian jelly opal ring in sterling silver that has a gold tone.  This opal is spectacular.  It's one of the most magical stones I've ever seen.  Sometimes called a "water opal," this type of jelly opal is semi-transparent with ghostly flashes of color that float through the interior of the stone as you turn it in the light.  This opal is truly stunning in bright light, and also wonderful in normal light.  The opal features cherry red, lime green, peacock blue and purple fire.  The large oval opal is securely bezel-set.  You can see the back of the opal from the inside of the ring.  The domed band of the ring is wide and polished smooth.  This ring has all the magic you could ever hope to see in an opal!

***The ring is not solid gold.  It is sterling silver that has a gold-tone color.

***There is some resin visible around the edges of the bezel.  This can be removed by your jeweler if you prefer.  The opal is secure in the setting with no movement.

The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
