Australian Boulder Opal Chinchilla Pendant. . 925 **VIDEO**

For sale is an Australian boulder opal pendant with a sterling silver chinchilla.  This pendant is hand-crafted and one-of-a-kind.  The pendant features a rectangular boulder opal with chocolate brown and tan matrix.  The opal has two pools of opalescence.  The top pool is in the middle of the stone, and sparkles with peacock blue, turquoise and lime green fire.  The lower pool is towards the bottom left of the opal, and flashes with vivid cherry red, purple and fuchsia fire. The boulder is visible on the back of the opal.  The opal is subtle in dim light, but flashes with vibrant, otherworldly color in bright indoor light or sunlight.  The opal is embraced by a beautifully carved long-tailed chinchilla.  The chinchilla perches at the top of the opal, having curled herself into a tight ball.  Her tail curves down along the side of the opal.   The opal is secure in prong settings.  The pendant has an articulated bail to accommodate your chain.  This is a sweet, colorful opal pendant with a larger than usual dose of artistic whimsy.  It would be wonderful worn by either a man or a woman.

The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
