For sale is an Australian Koroit boulder opal pendant in 10k yellow gold.  This dramatic pendant features a large oval opal embedded in dark brown matrix.  The matrix has a wonderful flowing pattern created by different shades of brown matrix.  The opal flows through the matrix in two veins that run like twin rivers through the brown boulder.  The larger opal vein flashes with sky blue and lavender fire, and runs diagonally over the surface of the oval opal.  The second vein is filament-thin, and flashes dazzling neon green and purple fire as you move the opal in the sunlight.  The opal is secure in a hand-crafted 10k solid gold setting.  The jeweler has dipped the opal in a thick layer of gold and added an attached bail to accommodate your chain.  You will love the drama of this "lightning bolt" boulder opal!
