Australian Black Opal Triplet Mosaic Pendant in 925. LARGE *VIDEO*

For sale is an Australian black opal triplet mosaic pendant in sterling silver.  This pendant is large and wonderfully colorful!  This medallion style pendant is a large domed opal with an array of multi-colored opals. The pendant displays a bold, dramatic palette of vibrant opalescent colors on a deep black background.  The opal is a mosaic, composed of 16 natural opals that are arranged in an oval.  The opal is a triplet, so the opals are backed in onyx, and topped with a clear quartz layer.  The onyx adds depth to the color of the opals, and the quartz top magnifies and exaggerates the colors of each opal.  The pendant flashes with several exceptionally bright ovals with cherry red, fuchsia and tangerine spots.  As you move it in the light, you will also see shades of purple, turquoise and peacock blue.  The opal is a large domed oval, and is bezel set in silver.  The opal is set in a wide oval frame.  The opal is backed in silver, with a window allowing you to see the black onyx backing.  The pendant has a good-sized articulated bail to accommodate your chain.  This pendant would be gorgeous for either a man or a woman.  Wear it long, like a medallion, or display it near the collarbone for a dramatic effect.
