For sale is an Australian black opal triplet ring in 10k white gold.  This ring is Extra.  The opal is more subtle in dim light, and in sunlight it splashes out in vibrant color.  The opal's medium blue base color forms a striking backdrop for the display of vivid cherry red, tangerine, lime green, fuchsia and peacock blue fire.  The opal crackles with an extreme palette of high-impact colors, which constantly shift as you move the ring in the light.  The opal is a triplet, backed in onyx and topped with a clear quartz layer for protection.  This is an example of an opal triplet at its best - the colors are made richer and more vibrant, and the fire is exaggerated and magnified.  The opal is secure in a bezel-setting with a scalloped frame.  The ring has a square band that is polished smooth.  This ring would be attractive worn by a man or a woman.  Simply magnificent!
