Mexican Boulder Opal Carved FROG on Lily Pad Ring **VIDEO**

For sale is a silver frog ring carved from a Mexican boulder opal.  This unusual ring was hand-carved in terracotta orange matrix (boulder) with a pool of purple, blue, turquoise and lime green opal at the top.  The opal is quite subtle in dim light, but flashes with rich shades of purple, lime and vibrant blue in sunlight or bright indoor light.  The little frog squats at the center of a lovely silver lily pad.  She is secure in a hand-made bezel setting.  The under-side of the ring is solid silver, and you cannot see the opal from inside the ring.  The hand-crafted, one-of-a-kind silver frog is  carved in all three-dimensions with her arms, legs, wide curving mouth and bulging eyes all clearly depicted by the artist.  The ring has a twisted rope silver circle on the back, and a simple half-round silver band.   This wee frog would be wonderful to wear as a pinkie ring, or placed on a chain around your neck as a pendant.  She is also a lovely companion to carry in your pocket, or to keep you company on your desk or nightstand.
