Australian Black Andamooka Boulder Opal Earrings. 9g & 1.5" **VIDEO**

For sale is a pair of exceptionally large and colorful Australian black boulder opal earrings.  These opals were mined in the Andamooka opal mines in South Australia. This type of opal is composed of black matrix (or boulder) with sparkling pinpricks of rainbow opalescence that flash over the surface of the stone.  The opals are subtle in dim light, but flash with vibrant color in sunlight or bright indoor light.  Each large, domed, oval opal flashes with tiny sparks of cherry red, tangerine, yellow, neon green, purple and royal blue. Each opal is secure in a hand-crafted bezel setting and backed in silver.  The opals are framed in silver with a ridged, pebbled texture. Each opal is suspended from a silver shepherds hook.  These exceptionally large black opal earrings have lovely vibrance and fire.  Please view the video to get the most accurate view of these extraordinary opals!
