For sale is an 18k yellow gold peanut pendant that opens to reveal a funny '40s insult.  The pendant is a fully three-dimensional peanut that is surprisingly realistic.  It has the two-lobed shape of a real peanut, and realistic curves and scallops.  The peanut opens to reveal the engraved words "Nuts to you!"  This expression was popular in US the 40's and 50's.  The expression was a gentle, light-hearted version of "to heck with you!"  This beautifully made pendant snaps open and closed properly.  It has a jump ring bail to accommodate your chain.  This is the perfect gift for anyone with an extra dose of sass.  Fun to fidget with too, if you are so inclined :)
