10k Yellow Rose Gold JUNE Memento Mori Ring. Victorian Era

For sale is a 10k yellow rose gold carved signet ring with the word "June" in raised capital letters.  The ring is a beautifully crafted antique from the Victorian era.  The ring is a memento mori ring for a mourned and beloved friend, wife or child named June.  You might choose to wear the ring to represent your birth month, or the birth month of a beloved child, husband, wife, friend or parent. The raised letters are elegant and easy to read despite the age and the wear to the ring.  The octagonal surface of the signet-style ring is elaborately inscribed with a raised, swirling pattern.  The pattern is too worn to be clearly recognizable at this point.  The ring has a split shank that joins to form a single band at the back.  The ring bears the initials "MCC" engraved in calligraphic cursive inside the band.  The ring is elegant and beautifully crafted.  It sits close to the finger and is quite comfortable to wear.  This ring would be equally attractive on a man or a woman.  It is currently very small, like a pinkie ring, but can be easily resized by your local jeweler.

The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
