14k Yellow Gold Garnet Earrings. Dormeuse Leverbacks. TINY!

For sale is a pair of 14k yellow gold earrings with small bezel-set garnets.  These earrings are beautifully crafted antiques.  They are dormeuse style leverbacks, which fasten by placing the earwire through the back of the ear, and fitting it into a small loop at the front of the ear.  Each earring features three glowing cherry red garnets stacked in a triangle.  The garnets have wonderful rich color and lovely translucence.  The garnets appear deep red in dim light, and vibrant glowing ruby red in brighter light.  Each garnet is bezel set and edged in delicate milgrain.  The gemstones are all backed in gold.   Elegant, sweet and romantic with wonderful old-world craftsmanship and charm!

***Dormeuse earrings can be difficult to put on, and take some hand-eye coordination.  I use a magnified mirror to put them in :)  

The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
