10k Yellow Gold Onyx CROSS Gothic Mourning Pendant. 2" + 8g

For sale is a 10k yellow and rose gold onyx mourning pendant with an engraved cross.  This wonderful, large pendant is a Gothic antique from the Victorian era.  I had my jeweler convert it from a brooch so it would be worn and enjoyed.  This pendant features a large domed oval of onyx that is set with a large gold cross. The cross engraved with an intricate swirling pattern.  The cross is set at an angle. The onyx is securely framed in 10k rose gold with elaborate engraving.  The inner edge of the frame is decorated with delicate milgrain.  The pendant has an attached bail to accommodate your chain.  This large mourning pendant would be stunning worn by either a man or a woman.  It looks wonderful worn alone, or combined with garnet, pearl, or diamond jewelry.

The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
