14k Yellow Gold 1.5 TCW Green Garnet Teardrop DECO Hoop Earrings. Tsavorite

For sale is a pair of 14k yellow gold green Tsavorite garnet teardrop earrings.  These vibrant Art Deco era earrings feature large glowing green garnet teardrops that are elegantly faceted to reflect the light.  The teardrops are each secure in hand-crafted "zig zag" prong settings.  A small Bali bead dangles below each earring.  These earrings are European "dormeuse" earrings, which means they fasten in front.  These earrings have wonderful antique, Art Deco style and elegance. They would be splendid for the holidays or any festive event.  

***Dormeuse earrings were popular in Europe in the early 20th century.  They are like regular hoop earrings, except you put the earring wire through the back of your ear, and hook it to the front of the earring.  This can be difficult if you have arthritis, vision problems or motor skills issues!  I use a magnifying mirror to put them on :)

The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
