14k Gold Medallion Pendant. 4 Ct Color Change Sapphire. 1.6" *Video*

For sale is a 14k two tone yellow gold filigree medallion pendant with a purple color change sapphire.  This elegant antique pendant is similar to a mandala, a large flat disk of gold with cut-out and engraved designs in co-centric circles.  The inner design is a flower with a large purple color change sapphire bezel set at the center, and a halo of gold flower petals.  The sapphire changes from delicate periwinkle lavender to darker purple depending on the light.  The second layer of the medallion's design is an intricate scalloped pattern, with fleur-de-lis and cut-out diamond shapes.  The pendant has two gold disks that are laid on top of each other.  The two disks are slightly different color yellow gold, giving the pendant added interest and complexity.  The medallion has a large bail to accommodate your chain.  This pendant is beautiful both worn at the neckline, and on a longer chain.  The pendant is attractive worn with either side facing forward.
