10k Yellow Gold Mama + Papa Diamond Snake Ring w Ruby Egg

For sale is a 10k yellow gold ring with two coiled snakes with diamonds and a ruby.  This Egyptian revival style ring is elegant and well-crafted.  I have never seen a snake ring with this design in many years of selling pre-owned jewelry.  Each shoulder of the ring is created from the triple coiled body of a snake.  Each snake has a sparkly round diamond bezel set in the back of her head.  The snakes work together to hold aloft their precious egg, a vibrant cherry red oval ruby gemstone. The ruby is securely prong set in a slightly elevated mounting, and framed behind with a circle of gold.  The back of the band is polished smooth.  This ring is simply beautiful, elegant and complex enough to be intriguing.  It can be worn alone or combined with other stacking rings.  It would be stunning worn with other Gothic rings, such as cameos, onyx or garnets, pearls or rose-cut diamonds!

The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
